First-Class Counties Second Eleven Annual 2010

INTRODUCTION Welcome to the First-Class Counties Second Eleven Annual for 2010. Its pattern follows exactly that of the 2009 edition. As usual, I hope it meets the needs of all Second Eleven Coaches and Scorers. “First-Class Counties” is of course a slight misnomer, since the Championship and Trophy competitions include the MCC Young Cricketers, the Minor Counties U25’s, and, for the first time, the MCC Universities. This year there are very few gaps in the biographical details, and I thank you for your persistence and hard work. I have used both the CricketArchive and Ancestry web sites to obtain some additional information, especially forenames. In addition, Philip Bailey’s ACS International Cricket Year Books have helped with overseas players.
