ACS Overseas First-Class Annual 2020
601 Errata and Corrigenda ACS Overseas First-Class Annual 2019 00 8 The statement that the quotient was not used in any domestic competition was not correct; in fact it was used in the Duleep Trophy and Ranji Trophy. 0 11 Last year’s edition discussed the Ahmed Shah Abdali tournament as if it were a completed competition. However, it now transpires that the matches held in April 2019 were merely the first part of the tournament, which was continued and concluded in November and December 2019. 0 12 Accordingly, the Ahmed Shah Abdali table, described as ‘final’, is in fact only interim. 0 38 In the Sheffield Shield table, the penultimate column is headed ‘A’ (which would mean Abandonment). It should be ‘Adj’, i.e. Adjustment. 0 78 In the Bangladesh Cricket League in 2018/19, in addition to bonus points for batting and bowling, a bonus point was available for a win by an innings or by ten wickets; this should have been shown in the table even though, in the event, no such wins were obtained and the overall BCL table is therefore not affected. 120 Last year’s edition stated that Delhi were relegated to Ranji Group C. This is incorrect. In fact, despite finishing bottom of Ranji Group B Delhi had a better points tally than Maharashtra, bottom but one in Group A, therefore it was the latter side that was relegated, together with Chhattisgarh. 121 With effect from the 2018/19 season the Duleep Trophy and Ranji Trophy determined priority between teams level on points and wins by means of the quotient, not the run-rate as incorrectly shown in the tables on pages 121 and 122. In the Ranji Trophy this had the effect of placing Bengal 3rd in Group B, and Punjab 4th; other placings were unaffected. For the correct version of the tables the reader is referred to Wisden 2020, pages 963 and 964. 139 For L.Y.Lepcha (Sikkim), please read L.N.Lepcha (also pages 158, 182, 186, 211, 226, 267, 269); for A.Rai (Sikkim), please read A.G.Rai (also pages 158, 182, 186). 140 For T.Doria (Arunachal Pradesh), please read T.S.Doria (also pages 157, 184, 202, 218, 246, 262, 269); for M.Shoyeb (Arunachal Pradesh), please read Mohammad Shoyeb); for L.Tehi (Arunachal Pradesh), please read L.T.Tehi (also pages 157, 184, 218, 246, 262, 269); for A.Negi (Meghalaya), please read A.D.Negi (also pages 160, 178, 193, 217, 225, 235, 267); for B.K.Passah (Meghalaya), please read B.L.Passah; for C.Sangma (Meghalaya), please read C.J.Sangma (also pages 193, 217, 235, 267); for D.Sangma (Meghalaya), please read D.N.Sangma (also pages 160, 178, 193, 217, 225, 235, 267); for A.Singhania (Meghalaya), please read A.N.Singhania (also pages 160, 178, 193, 217, 225, 235, 267). 141 For S.Rupero (Nagaland), please read S.N.Rupero (also pages 158, 178, 210, 234, 238, 262, 278); for M.Wotsa (Nagaland), please read M.V.Wotsa (also pages 158, 262); for M.Lalremkima (Mizoram), please read M.L.Lalremkima (also pages 157, 179, 196, 226, 235); for S.A.Khadir (Mizoram), please read S.A.Khader (also pages 157, 196, 226, 235, 261, 285); for T.S.Kohli (Mizoram), please read T.Kohli (also pages 157, 179, 196, 226, 235, 261, 285); for G.Lalbiakvela (Mizoram), please read L.L.Guite (also pages 157, 179, 196, 226, 235, 261, 285); for K.Lalhmangaiha (Mizoram), please read L.V.Ngaiha (also pages 157, 179, 226, 261); for Moia (Mizoram), please read K.L.Hmingmawia; for C.Lalrinsanga (Mizoram), please read C.L.Sanga (also pages 157, 261, 285); for L.M.Ralte (Mizoram), please read L.H.Ralte (also pages 157, 179, 196, 226, 235, 261, 285); for S.Sailo (Mizoram), please read S.L.Sailo (also pages 157, 179, 196, 226, 235); for K.Vanlalruata (Mizoram), please read K.C.Vanlalruata (also pages 157, 179, 196, 235). 145 For R.Tiwari (Chhattisgarh), please read R.B.Tiwari (also pages 154, 170).
