P.M.Pushpakumara provided the 82nd instance of all-ten in first-class cricket, and the first since Zulfiqar Babar for Multan v Islamabad at Multan in 2009/10. His innings figures of 10-37 are the best-ever innings figures in Sri Lanka (previously 10-41 by G.P.Wickremasinghe for Sinhalese v Kalatura PCC at Colombo in 1991/92); his match figures of 16-110 are the second-best ever in Sri Lanka. Earlier, E.M.C.D.Edirisinghe had taken the first nine wickets to fall in the Colombo first innings. This was only the fifth first-class match anywhere in which a bowler from each side has taken nine or more wickets in an innings.
