Man of the Match: Sikandar Raza. H.Masakadza passed 2,000 runs in Test matches when he reached 81 in the first innings. Sikandar Raza passed 3,000 runs in first-class matches when he reached 29 in the second innings. D.Bishoo reached 100 wickets in Test matches when taking his 2nd wicket in the Zimbabwe first innings. This was Zimbabwe’s first drawn Test since 2005 and ended a run of 10 consecutive defeats. H.Masakadza's 147 was a record score for Zimbabwe v West Indies (previously 127* by H.H.Streak at Harare in 2003/04). S.O.Dowrich and J.O.Holder, batting 8 and 9 for West Indies, each hit centuries; the only previous instance of centuries at 8 and 9 in a Test innings was by Australia v England at Adelaide in 1907/08. The 212 they added was a record for the West Indies 8th wicket in Tests (previously 148, also v Zimbabwe, by J.C.Adams and F.A.Rose at Kingston in 1999/00). The 90 added by H.Masakadza and Sikandar Raza in the first innings, and the 98 added by P.J.Moor and Sikandar Raza in the second, were successive records for the 5th Zimbabwe wicket against West Indies (previously 64 in the first Test, see page 621). 624 Zimbabwe in 2017/18
