All his wickets came in the Plunket Shield, and it was the second season in succession that he had been the most prolific bowler in the competition. In second place, and the leading quicker bowler, was Canterbury’s local-born, but Dutch-qualified, Logan van Beek with 40 wickets at the exceptional average of only 14.47.
