A.G.Cremer, with 9-275, claimed the best match return for Zimbabwe in a Test against Sri Lanka (previously his own 7-227 at Harare in 2016/17). The 74 added by C.R.Ervine and D.T.Tiripano was Zimbabwe's highest for the 9th wicket against Sri Lanka (previously 43 by J.A.Rennie and S.G.Peall at Bulawayo in 1994/95). The 144 added by Sikandar Raza and M.N.Waller was Zimbabwe's highest for the 7th wicket against Sri Lanka (previously 132 by P.J.Moor and A.G.Cremer at Harare in 2016/17). Sri Lanka's 391 was their best total to win a Test (previously 352-9 against South Africa at Colombo in 2006); it was the fifth highest score by any side to win a Test. 651 Sri Lanka in 2017
