Man of the Match: Azhar Ali. Azhar Ali passed 4,000 runs in Test matches when he reached 278 in the first innings. His 302* was the fourth highest Test score for Pakistan and the second highest conceded by West Indies. It was also the highest first-class score in the UAE (previously 278* by A.B.de Villiers for South Africa against Pakistan at Abu Dhabi in 2010/11). Yasir Shah reached 100 wickets in Test cricket when taking his 5th wicket in the West Indies first innings. It was only his 17th Test, putting him in the illustrious company of S.F.Barnes, C.V.Grimmett and C.T.B.Turner; only G.A.Lohmann has reached the target in fewer Tests (16).
