He was the fifth cricketer (and fourth Australian) to achieve this on the first day of a Test. P.S.P.Handscomb kept wicket on day 3 (except for the first two overs) instead of M.S.Wade who was ill. J.M.Bird equalled the Test record of four catches in a Test by a substitute fielder (three previous instances). This was Pakistan's sixth successive defeat, their worst ever run. 34 Australia in 2016/17
