M.J.Clarke retired hurt in the Australia first innings having scored 60 (team score 206-2, 43.2 overs) - he returned when the score was 354-6. Two batsmen, V Kohli and D.A.Warner, scored twin centuries in this match: this was the fifth occasion on which two batsman had performed the feat in the same Test (see page 602 for the fourth occasion). The feat of scoring a century in each innings of a Test between Australia and India had previously been performed only by D.G.Bradman (Melbourne, 1947/48) and V.S.Hazare (Adelaide, 1947/48). 24 Australia in 2014/15
