Acknowledgments It is, as always, a great pleasure to acknowledge everyone that has had a hand in producing this Annual . The match scorecards are derived from CricketArchive (www.cricketarchive.com ), a remarkable on-line database that contains records of over half a million matches and much other material besides. The Annual is entirely reliant on this resource, free use of which has been generously provided by Pete Griffiths and Philip Bailey. In addition, they both offered valuable advice and dealt patiently with countless queries, while Pete also typeset the whole book. I must express particular appreciation for the support of Keith Walmsley, who not only wrote many of the narrative introductions but also provided extremely helpful suggestions about other aspects of the book.
