As a result this return match was drawn, with there being no decision on the first innings and no points awarded. In July at Cardiff the match between these teams was also drawn, but with Monmouthshire winning on the first innings. For the home side E S Phillips top-scored; his 57 did not include any boundaries. For Glamorgan Riches was left unbeaten with 47 whilst Maxwell took 6 wickets for 72 runs.
