For Surrey Sandham scored 117 and with Abel added 56 runs for the ninth wicket in the first innings. Grahame took 5 wickets for 49 runs in the Kent first innings and also took 3 catches in the match. For Kent there were 13 fours in Dutnall’s unbeaten 108, he with Freeman added 83 runs for the eighth wicket in the second innings.
