Falcon took 6 wickets for 18 runs as he and Falconer bowled unchanged during Hertfordshire’s innings which lasted for just 24.2 overs. Household was unable to bat having split his hand while attempting to catch a skier from Watson; White had deputised in the field. For the home side Titchmarsh was the only batsman to score more than 6 runs. Burton took 6 wickets for 62 runs in Norfolk’s first innings, during which he bowled unchanged.
