For the winners Wingham scored 87 in the second innings with 1 six and 14 fours. C M Skinner completed a hat-trick in the Cheshire second innings, dismissing H J Harrison, Barrell, and Chambers in successive balls. He took 10 wickets in the match for 55 runs including 6 for 18 in the second Cheshire innings. Skinner was only playing as Norbury was unavailable. For the losers J A Harrison was the pick of their bowlers - coming on with the score at 92 in the first innings, he took 5 for 18. He followed this up with 7 for 70 in the second innings giving him match figures of 12 for 88, all done in a day.
