Hacker took 7 wickets for 20 in Wiltshire’s first innings during which he and Creber bowled unchanged whilst Creber took 5 wickets for 40 in their second. Billings made 3 stumpings in the match. In Glamorgan’s second innings Whittington did not bat due to an eye inflammation and Symonds retired hurt with the score at 81 for no wicket after receiving a severe blow to the knee by Miller. For the losers no batsman passed 25; Mitchell took 5 wickets for 34 runs in Glamorgan’s first innings.
