There was no play possible on the second day due to the continuing poor weather. The match between the two sides at the Oval in June had been won by Surrey. For Surrey Sandham scored 57 not out. For Glamorgan Hacker took 4 of the 6 Surrey wickets to fall at a cost of 65 runs. In spite of occasional showers on the first day there were around 1,500 people in attendance.
