For the winners, Jennings top-scored with 55 which was the only half-century of the match. Preston took 12 wickets for 35 runs in the match, with 6 for 15 in Cornwall’s first innings, including 4 wickets in successive balls (Vibart, Trevarthen, Holman and Hawken), and 6 for 20 in the Cornwall second innings.
