For the winners Maxwell top-scored with 47 whilst Riches and Gibbs also contributed significantly with the bat. Hacker took 11 wickets for 95 runs in the match, including 5 for 56 in Wiltshire’s first innings and 6 for 39 in their second innings during which he and Creber bowled unchanged. For the losers R W Awdry made the highest score of 40 whilst Newman took 6 wickets for 67 runs in Glamorgan’s first innings.
