In spite of this they finished in fourth place in the Table with three matches won. The fixture list changed greatly as Carmarthenshire, Glamorgan, Kent 2nd XI and Monmouthshire were replaced by Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Wiltshire. In his first season E H D Sewell scored most runs, 325 at 40.62, and took most wickets, 46 at 16.36. Percival Frith gave batting support with 296 runs at 37.00. Matt Wright took 22 wickets at 11.59 but his batting was not as productive as in 1911. During the season Matt Wright reached the career milestone of 800 wickets.
