The run margin of the victory was the second closest of the season. For the winners, White took 11 wickets in the match for 94 runs, including 7 for 14 in the Cambridgeshire first innings. He also carried his bat through the Hertfordshire second innings with 57 not out. Golding and Cowley both scored 50. For the losers, Coulson took 11 wickets in the match for 88 runs, including 8 for 13 in the Hertfordshire first innings.
