Jack Golding with 365 runs at 24.33 did not bat so well as in 1908 when he scored 656 at 50.46. There was a drastic decline in the effectivness of the batting of Charles Titchmarsh. Career milestones reached during the season were five thousand runs by Jack Golding, one thousand runs by H M Harford and seven hundred wickets by Harry White.
