Debutatnt Arthur Ling had a good season, his aggregate being 463 runs at 30.86. The bowling again relied upon Harry Coulson who took 55 wickets at 11.20 which was also an inprovement over his 36 at 25.72 in 1908. Bernard Pigg obtained 29 wickets at 23.20. Career milestones reached during the season were four thousand runs by George Watts and one thousand runs by Len Reid and Harry Coulson.
