For the winners, Silverlock took 10 wickets in the match for 65 runs and Williams 9 for 38. Silverlock scored 63, E S Phillips 55 and David 89. In the Monmouthshire innings, Phillips and Silverlock put on 119 runs for the first wicket. The Carmarthenshire first innings total of 41 was equal second lowest of the season.
