Sweet- Escott’s 93 contained 11 fours and Letcher’s 75 7 fours. In the Glamorgan innings, Riches and Sweet -Escott added 182 runs for the fifth wicket, and Letcher and Brain 157 for the seventh. For the losers, Hooman’s 74 included 12 fours and Blackburne’s 50 9 fours. In the Devon second inni ngs, Hooman and Blackburne added 102 for the second wicket. The Glamorgan total of 540 was the highest of the season. The 44 overs bowled by Light were the third most in an innings and the 162 runs he conceded the second most in an innings during the season.
