George Wilson, the ex-Worcestershire player was the leading wicket taker with 55 at 13.96. The season saw the first use of the ground at Amy Lane, Chesham as a venue for championship matches. Career milestones reached during the season were two thousand runs by Frederic Bird, one thousand runs by E Hobbs and six hundred wickets by Mat Wright.
