For the winners, Miller took 12 wickets in the match for 83 runs, including 7 for 26 in the Buckinghamshire first innings. No batsman scored 50. Awdry and Warrilow were joint top-scorers with 41. For Buckinghamshire, Weaver- Adams and Gregory played the highest innings with 47 and 47 not out respectively. Ward arrived at the ground late on the first day and was the last man to bat in the Buckinghamshire first innings. During the match, Wright passed two major career milestones. When he had scored 28 in the Buckinghamshire second innings, he reached three thousand runs in championship matches, and when he dismissed Newman in the Wiltshire first innings, he reached five hundred wickets in championship matches. In terms of wickets taken, the margin of victory was the second smallest of the season.
