On the second day, rain interrupted play in the morning session for 10 minutes, and delayed play after lu nch until 4.00 pm. For the home side, there were 13 fours in Russell’s 78 and 7 fours in Morgan’s 62. Creber took 9 wickets in the match for 112 runs, including 7 for 32 in the Wiltshire first innings. For the visitors, Awdry’s 71 contained 8 fours and Mil ler’s 50 not out 1 four. In the Wiltshire second innings, Awdry and Miller added 89 runs for the seventh wicket.
