The two most successful bowlers were Sydney Barnes with 44 wickets at 11.54 and ‘Jack’ Mee with 34 wickets at 17.00. During the season Sydn ey Barnes reached the career milestone of one hundred wickets. Of those playing their only season for Staffordshire, Noah Buxton was to go on and play 10 matches for Cheshire between 1908 and 1910. Albert Hollowood reverted to playing as a professional after two seasons as an amateur.
