For the winners, Turnbull took 11 wickets in the match for 97 runs, including 7 for 63 in the Yorkshire second innings. He also scored 64 not out, scored in 50 minutes, and 80, an innings of 60 minutes, with 3 sixes and 6 fours and 2 sixes and 9 fours respectively. There were 2 sixes and 4 fours in Elliot’s 62 and 1 six and 3 fours in Moorsom’s 50. It was the first time Redcar had hosted a championship match. When he had scored 34 in the Durham first innings, Elliot reached the career milestone of three thousand runs in championship matches, whilst in the same innings when he had scored 26, Turnbull reached the career milestone of one thousand runs. In the Durham second innings when he had scored 3, Bousfield reached the career milestone of two thousand runs in championship matches.
