Glamorgan won at 3.00 pm on the second day. For the winners, J H Brain’s 64 contained 6 fours. For Wiltshire, Smith took 11 wickets in the match for 91 runs, including 9 for 65 in the Glamorgan first innings, which was statistically the third best innings bowling performance of the season. Whitaker top-scored with 36 not out. When batting in the Wiltshire second innings, Overton was hit by a return throw by Russell which damaged his foot. He carried on batting with Snell acting as his runner. When dismissing Cobb in the Wiltshire first innings, Lowe reached the career milestone of 200 wickets in championship matches.
