The highlight of the season was the feat of G J Thompson taking one hundred wickets for the second season running. G J Thompson passed three career milestones of three thousand runs, four hundred wickets and fifty catches during the season. He was the first player to reach the milestones for runs scored and wickets taken. Other milestones reached were one hundred wicket-keeping dismissals by B C Smith and fifty catches by T Horton.
