The winning margin of 235 runs was the largest of the season. For the winners, Miller scored 88 with 11 fours, Warrilow 71 and Stevens 51. In the Wiltshire second innings, Warrilow and Miller put on 149 runs for the sixth wicket, which was the second highest for that wicket during the season. The 235 runs difference between the two Wiltshire scores was the largest of the season. Smart took 7 wickets for 36 runs in the Devon first innings. For the visitors, Minto took 10 wickets in the match for 115 runs . In the Wiltshire second innings, Snell was dismissed for 35 immediately after reaching the career milestone of one thousand runs in championship matches.
