For Bedfordshire, Parbury took 11 wickets in the match for 169 runs. Brooks’s 110 included 1 five, 17 fours, 4 threes and 5 twos. There were 7 fours in T A Brown’s 52 not out and 1 five and 6 fours in Thring’s 50. In the Bedfordshire first innings, Brooks and Peel put on 102 runs for the second wicket.
