They also completed the ëdoubleí over Berkshire, having won when the teams met at Cardiff in July. Frequent rain interrupted play on the second day. For the winners, Bancroft top-scored with 46, which contained 6 fours. Croome made the highest score for Berkshire with 38. The 4 catches held by Croome in the Glamorgan first innings were the most by a fieldsman in an innings during the season, and equalled the previous best which had been preformed on 7 previous occasions, including by Croome himself. While fielding at mid-off in the Berkshire first innings, Cameron sprained his leg and had to be assisted from the field, and he took no further part in the match.
