105 the club knockout and beat North Riding by ten wickets. Enid bowled her ten overs and took one for 20 as North Riding made 123 for eight, then Enid (43 not out) and Jan Brittin (65 not out) knocked off the runs. In the semis they lost to lost to Thrumpton though Enid did her best, taking three for 18 as Thrumpton were bowled out for 109. Redoubtables could only manage 89, with Enid last out for 50. In 1999 the Redoubtables were playing in the South Premier League, so Enid was playing for them and was still involved with Surrey, and she played in a 16-a-side Surrey trial for ‘Dolphins’ against ‘Possums’, scoring eight and bowling four overs for 13. In June she played for Surrey against Somerset at Taunton and they lost by seven wickets. Surrey scored 197 for six and then she took one for 27 from seven overs as Somerset made 200 for three. She did not bat in this game which was to be her last game for the Surrey first eleven. For the rest of the season it was Redoubtables or Surrey Seconds, with her games for the county producing some tight bowling figures: 10-6-7-2 against Lancashire, 10-6-8-3 against Northumberland, 10-5-13-1 against Middlesex (all of them in winning games). Her batting was much less successful with a high score of 29 and a couple of run outs. Again Redoubtables reached the quarter finals of the club knockout before being beaten again by Thrumpton who were restricted to 107 for seven (Enid 10-3-16-1) but Redoubtables could only manage 68 (Enid run out for 12). Enid was 59 just before the end of the century. 1990s
