ABOUT THE AUTHOR Peter Wynne-Thomas has been researching and writing about cricket history since the 1960s. He was an officer of the Association of Cricket Statisticians and Historians for more than thirty years and has run the library at the Trent Bridge Cricket Ground since 1978, as well as editing the Nottingham County Cricket Club’s yearbook. He is author of some fifty books covering many aspects of cricket.
