The Dominions XI during their presentation to the Duke of Gloucester at Lord’s before their match with England on 2 and 3 August 1943, with F/O D.K.Carmody centre stage. The match involved fifteen players who appeared in Test cricket in their time. The Dominions XI led by Carmody which lost by eight runs to England at Lord’s on 2 and 3 August 1943.
