Falcon conceded, on average, 2.86 runs per six-ball over – compared with 3.60 runs per over in the first-class game. He took wickets at the rate of one per 34.83 balls – rather more frequently than his first-class figures. He took 358 wickets caught (48.4%), of which 28 (3.8%) were caught and bowled; 305 wickets bowled (41.3%); 62 wickets lbw (8.4%); 12 wickets stumped (1.6%) and two wickets hit wicket (0.3%). Ten of the stumpings came after Falcon ceased to be a genuine pace bowler, but two came in 1914 and 1922 (both by Guy Pedder) when he was still speedy.
