In addressing the Officers connected with Cricket in Her Majesty’s Army and Navy, begs to inform them that they may depend upon the best articles being selected for their use, either at home or abroad J. L. having had the honour of supplying upwards of EIGHTY of H.M. Regiments, and also NINETY of H.M. Ships, in various quarters of the globe, is a sufficient proof of the high estimation in which his name as manufacturer is held ; and he confidently affirms that no other establishment can compete with him for quality and prices of the articles supplied by him. TO OFFICERS OF REGIMENTS AND PAYMASTERS OF SHIPS, Officers of either Service, when on a foreign or colonial station, in ordering goods, are requested to send a remittance (in addition to the amount of the order) to pay freightage, which to most places abroad must be prepaid, to ensure prompt execution of the orders sent. The Bats used by Messrs. W. G. Grace, C. I. Thornton, and I. D. Walker, are manufactured expressly for them by James Lillywhite. ESTIMATES GIVEN FOR LARGE ORDERS.
