AVarren (35), a very fine bat; as a rule scores heavily; capital wicket-keeper. F. AV. Freeman (25.8), a fine, free hitter; has improved in defence; very good bowler. E. C. Lindup (16.2), steady bat, but lacks power; fine outfield. S. Cook (12.9), useful bat; good out field, throws in finely. E. AVilliamson (12.4) bowled successfully last year, but fell off in batting. M. Simmonds (10.3) improved in his batting la6t year. AV. H. Gallier (10.1), a useful bat, generally good for runs.. F. P. Owen (9.7), fair bat; is not so smart in the field last year. D.
