Nethersole (6.14), painstaking, and often difficult, howler; as steady a hat as ever; improved in style and hitting powers. C. S. Bonnett (8.2), a very hard hitter, and improved in defence; a good field. E. F. K. Sorsbie (10.6), useful all-round; excellent field, and fair bat, with plenty of h i t ; can bowl. H. P. Brewer (5.2), fair bat and safe catch, though slow in the field. T. Collett (6.12), a good steady b a t ; rather slow in the field. L. Lc G. Homo (6.10), a promising bat, and handy at point.- C. G. Rogers (4.3), fair bat and field. P. R. Nethersole (3.4), first-class long-stop and plncky hat, though deficient in strength. R.
