Hornby, a sound con . sistent scorer, but takes time to get set; fair fast bow ler ; long reach in the field. A. L. Mumm, a steady bat, but can hit at tim es ; useful field. G. K. Hext, a pretty bat and brilliant field ; can keep w icket. J. S. Clemons, a bowler with great break back, but has fallen off this y ea r ; a hard hitting, but uncertain bat. W. H. Savigny, a patient bat, with rather an ug ly style ; a change slow bow ler ; slow in tlie field. G. H. Baker has bowled well and steadily throughout the term ; a hard hitting bat, with no defence; qu ick in tlie field. L. M. Owen, a keen cricketer, with a safe pair of hands; a peculiar bat. P. S.
