Purchase’s prize for second best average, p Dunkley (5.1), a new member and a great acquisition to the c lub ; good fast left-handed bowler ; breaks from the leg ; a fair bat, and a good and sure field ; has much improved and done well this season, which his average will show ; takes Mr. Margarie’s prize for best average bowling. T. Goodson (0.2), an excellent slow round-hand bowler, with plenty of break; fine field; sure catch. C. A. Page (4.5) bowls fast underhand; ha* not been so effective this season ; bats and fields fairly; receives Mr. Gibson’s prize for the aggregate. T. A.
