C. Massey, a very careful bat, and scores steadily; invariably goes in first, and always shares a good portion of the bowling. E. Payne, a good all-round man, young, and promises well. J. Cole always does good service as a wicket-keeper; a slogger when set. H. Wright, a careful and sure bat, and a good medium bowler. C.
