Pughe and J. Jones; Capt., B. R. Dew. Members, 100. Ground, * acres. Subs., 10s. fid. Colours, dark and light blue. Distance from station, 2minutes’ walk. Matches, 26—won 11, lost 11, drawn 4. This club, after a somewhat bad start, wound up their season with a succession of victories. The first eleven won 11matches, lost 11, and drew 4, which is highly creditable, considering the many really first-class clubs they were pitted against, such as the Leinster (Dublin), Incogniti, Stygiang, and Brynyneuadd; and when it is remembered that such celebrated cricketers as Mr. A. N. Hornby, Mycroft, and Scotton were met in combat, it is to be wondered that the club has been able to hold its own so well. In all, 40 matches were played-26 first eleven, 11 second eleven, and 3 club matches, the largest number of matches ever played in any one season. B atting A verages . ft*ft A. T. Hay W. Shepherd H.
