Matches, 49—won 30, lost 12, drawn 7. R. Bencraft (12.S), good bat, cuts very clean; also bowls successfully. Major Fellowes, R.E. (14.3), very free bat, and on his day irresistible as a bowler. E. H. Hazelton (27.1), very safe and neat bat; a change bowler. E. G. Wynyard, fine free bat and superb field; has not played this year. A. J. Andrews (33), safe bat, good defence ; keeps wicket. H. Armstrong (32.1), very straight and reliable bowler, and scores occasionally. H. Calder (18.5), good bat, drives very hard and well; a change bowler. R. Scovell (9.1) , very successful bowler, and often makes runs on an emergency. F. H. Wilson (3 .1 ) , good wicket-keeper and steady bat. A. W. Watts (6 .1 ), good slow bowler and fair bat, with very pretty action ; has been ill nearly all the season. E. L. Ede (6.1) (captain), keeps up his old reputation; gets wickets with lobs on an emergency, and bats in good style. All the above have played for tho County of Hants.
