The Norfolk County Club has had a fairly successful season, and the averages compare favourably with those of the previous year. The. match list was much of the same character as that of 1882. ' The great feat of the season was achieved in the match at Lord’s v. M.C.C. and Ground, when after following their innings, being in a minority of 116 runs, the County eleven scored 3GG, and finally won by 152 runs. " Mr. L. K. Jarvis has again proved himself the best bat in the County, and the bowling averages of Mr. P. II. Morton and Mr. C. J. Wilson are note worthy in a run-getting season.
