The chief scorers for Yorkshire were E. Lockwood 30 and 23, Grimshaw 22 (not out) and 16, and H. Lockwood 7 and 31. Mr. W . G. Grace failed completely in this match, only scoring 8 and 10, and not taking a wicket. Mr. Cranston made 42 and (not out) 10, and Mr. E. M. Gracd 22 and (not out) 15.
