Ullathorne keeps wicket well, at times brilliant; good bat, scores fast and hits very hardon the off-side ; promising slow bowler. G. F. Stafford, a persevering bat and improved in bowling at the end of the season. S. J. Wheble, a good field, though B not quite soenergetic as one would wish. J. Ward, uncertain bat, runs badly between wickets; fields very fairly and throws in well. C. de Murrieta has improved in even- l respect this year, and on several occasions has fielded brilliantly T.
