A P R E F A C . The story of our lives from year to year has been the mission of the ANNUALfromits inception . Twenty-seven summershave passed. and the " Red Lillywhite " still flourishes , bravely fulfilling its original aim, a faithful chronicle of each year's cricket . To carry out its programme, the co-operation of cricketers of all classes was essential , and this the proprietors , in a spirit of grateful acknowledg- ment, are proud to be able to add, has always been readily and cheerfully accorded . The increase of the higher kind of cricket has brought with it increased responsibilities . Each year sees the fixture list heavier , with a corresponding necessity for additional space and additional care . To meet the increasing requirements the assistance of cricketers is cordially solicited . Any facts of interest will be weleome .
